| We may live in an age where time is money, but we have to disregard that in our labors. Our breads must be allowed to rise very slowly; it is a process that takes anywhere from 10 to15 hours but only in this way will the bread develop the distinctive, iridescent, web-like structure that is unique to Russo. The baker who makes this kind of bread has to be willing to undertake a commitment not just to excellence, but to the preservation of a true art form. And we have been true to the tradition, even to importing a special oven from Italy, in which the breads are baked directly on the hearth floor. A variety of breakfast treats, as well as a full line of cakes, tarts, and pastries, are also available to our customers and wholesale clients. We deliver 7days a week. As you can see, we take great pride in every product we produce and assure you or that your customers will appreciate the difference the first time they taste a Russo bread or pastry. |
